Availability: You can purchase Snow Fairy body wash at LUSH stores worldwide as well as on the website. I was lucky enough to snag my bottle while on a trip to Hamburg last weekend. By the way, this comes in two other sizes as well, one smaller and one larger than the one I purchased. Also, keep in mind that this is part of their limited edition Holiday 2012 range of products. So if you want a bottle then be sure to pick one up soon.
What I liked: It’s pink, it has a bit of iridescent glitter in it, which washes off, and it is so creamy. Your skin is definitely left feeling clean and soft. The best part is of course the scent, which is incredible. It smells like sweet yummy candy and I kept catching whiffs of it throughout the day when I used it. In fact when I first smelled it in the store I immediately was reminded of the McCraw’s Giant Taffy I used to get back in Michigan, because Snow Fairy smells exactly like this (now I’m going to have to beg someone to send some). Although I doubt he’ll ever stray from his beloved Bohemian, Captain Canada even remarked on how nice it smelled and he is super picky and weird about scents mind you.
What I didn’t like: I think this is a tad on the pricey side to be honest. I mean nearly €13 for a body wash is pretty bonkers. Also I think it’s worth mentioning that I didn’t even know it had glitter in until I turned the bottle upside down since it’s all sunk to the bottom, which made me sad. So I guess I’ll get a glitter overload during my last few uses.
My two cents: Even though this isn’t necessarily a bargain, I do feel that I at least get what I pay for with LUSH products. So with that said, I do fully intend to repurchase (hopefully the supersize) before supplies run out. Yeah, it’s that good. By the way, if you like these sort of sweet scents, another product to try would be LUSH’s Rock Star soap, which is one of my favorites.
