Use: Most people tend to use this particular shade of MSF as a highlight, on the brow bone, inner corners of the eyes, check bones, done the nose, and on the cupids bow. While I like to use it these ways myself, I have also found that this works nicely on my eyelids on it’s own or layered over other shadows. I particularly like to apply it over the Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze (On and On Bronze in Europe). I think this would also be great to mix with blushes as well.
What I liked: I just adore Soft and Gentle. You get a substantial amount of product and a little definitely goes a long way. So this will last you ages.
What I didn’t like: You do experience some fall out during application. Also, I find that this tends to shift slightly throughout the day. Keep in mind though, that this will wear differently on everyone. I was also surprised that this didn’t have a softer silkier texture.
My two cents: This has become one of my most used products in my makeup collection. I would recommend this to just about anyone as I think it would suit a multitude of skin tones. When the sad day inevitably comes that I use up all of my Soft and Gentle, I can one hundred percent say that I will be running to repurchase it.
Tips: Always use a gentle hand and build up to achieve the finish you are looking for. I would also recommend using a smaller duo fiber type brush to allow for more precise application. I like to use my Real Techniques Setting brush.
