Scenes From Schwäbisch Hall

I feel as though I neglected my blog last week.  Things were quite honestly just a little bonkers last week and then we decided to take a last minute trip to visit a friend in Schwäbisch Hall here in Germany for a few days.  For those of you unfamiliar with the country, Schwäbisch Hall is located northeast of Stuttgart with Heilbronn to the west in the state of Baden-Wurttenberg.  If you are interested in finding out more about Schwäbisch Hall I will provide a link down below.  Anyhow, we had a great time catching up with our friend and exploring the medieval city and it’s surroundings.  In fact, I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re ever in the area.  We were even treated to a Frieda Kahlo exhibition which also contained some of her husband, Diego Rivera’s works as well at the Kunsthalle Würth.  Although no photography was allowed in the gallery, I wanted to share with you a few of the pictures I took while wandering through the city.  This week I will be back in action and blogging a bit more regularly.  In fact, I have a few posts in the works already.  As always, thanks for reading and check back soon.

St. Michael’s Church – There are plays on the stairs during the summer months.

Kocher River Island – Small island located in the middle of Old Town.

Hall Globe Theater – Located on island in the Kocher River in the center of Old Town, designed specifically for Shakespeare productions.

Kocher River – View from wooden bridge in Old Town.

Narrow Staircase – The city is riddled with these.
